A portable humidifier is built to move with the user — travel, desk, car cup-holder or small bedside use — with a compact tank and light housing. HumidityForge builds portable humidifiers for lifestyle and travel accessory brands, retailers and e-commerce sellers: USB-powered and battery options, cup-style and bottle-style tanks, with your logo and packaging. Looking for the smallest desk-top form factors? See our separate mini humidifier page. Full-size bedroom cool-mist units live under ultrasonic humidifiers.

Portable humidifier types we build
- USB portable humidifiers — desk and travel units powered by USB-A or USB-C.
- Battery / cordless portable humidifiers — rechargeable platforms for travel (battery chemistry and shipping rules confirmed per order).
- Cup-holder and bottle-style portable humidifiers — form factors for car and bag packing.
- Personal portable humidifiers — small directed mist for close use (no medical claims).
Ultra-compact desk novelties are covered on the mini humidifier page so each URL keeps one primary keyword.

No certifications, listings, ratings or test data claimed. We describe what each product is made of and how it can be customized. We do not display certification or listing marks (such as UL / ETL, CE, CB, FCC, RoHS or REACH), publish room-coverage or mist-output ratings, filter-life hours, test results, factory capacity or customer cases on this site. Where your channel needs testing or documentation, it is buyer-specified and available on request — arranged per SKU at a third-party lab you choose or approve. No medical or respiratory claims and no mold / bacteria kill claims are made. Labeling and claims are the brand owner’s responsibility.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between portable and mini humidifiers?
Portable emphasizes travel and move-with-you use (USB, battery, cup-holder). Mini emphasizes the smallest desk-top tank sizes. Some SKUs could fit either brief — we keep separate pages so each keyword has a clear URL. See mini humidifiers.
What room size or mist output do you rate?
We do not publish room-coverage square footage, run-time hours or mist-output ratings as product claims on this site. Coverage and output depend on the tank, transducer / wick / heater design, humidity setpoint, room conditions and how the unit is tested. You specify the performance targets and test method your channel accepts; we build samples to that brief and you verify them — in-house or through third-party testing arranged on request. Any coverage or output figure on your packaging or listing must come from that verification.
Do these humidifiers treat respiratory conditions, allergies or dry skin?
We make no medical, therapeutic or health claims for any product — no cure, treatment, prevention or relief wording for respiratory illness, asthma, allergies, sinus issues, dry skin or similar. We describe construction (mist type, tank fill, filter / consumables, controls, materials) and build to the specification you approve. Any health-related claim on your packaging or listing is the brand owner’s responsibility, must be supported by your own evidence and may bring the product under medical-device or advertising rules in your market.
Do your humidifiers kill mold or bacteria?
We do not claim that any product kills mold, bacteria, viruses or fungi, or that a tank, filter or UV feature “sterilizes” water or air. Hygiene features (for example UV lamps, silver ion parts, antimicrobial plastics or easy-clean tanks) are described as construction options only. Any antimicrobial or purification claim must be backed by buyer-specified testing for that SKU and market, and wording is the brand owner’s responsibility. See the compliance section of our specs guide.
Are your humidifiers certified (UL / ETL / CE)?
We do not claim any certification, listing or test result on this site — no UL / ETL, CE, CB, FCC, RoHS, REACH, ISO or similar marks. Compliance belongs to a specific SKU, a specific market and a specific sales channel: tell us the destination market, the channel (home appliance brand, retailer, distributor, marketplace) and the standard, test or document your customer asks for, and the quotation sets out how it will be handled — typically third-party testing at a lab you choose or approve, on production samples, available on request and quoted per SKU. See the compliance section of our specs guide or ask on the inquiry form.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on the tooling (an existing mold vs. a new housing), mist type, tank size, colors, logo method, packaging, filters / consumables and any buyer-specified electrical or safety testing; lead time depends on customization, sampling rounds, testing and season. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see also the packaging & MOQ section of our specs guide.
